So little time

Why do we hear people say: "I've so little time." In fact, we even say it ourselves. We do have just as much time as anybody else. It's up to us to use it wisely. The secret? Organize. Prioritize. Focus. Relax and Rest and Rejoice when you have finished a specific task. But which task? The dishes? Making dinner? Getting the mail? Walking Bobbie? No. I mean the fun things we've been putting off until some time later. Right now I want to quilt. But then there are times I want to knit. Other days I have a smocking project that entices me. And then, I really like to sew. On clear days that are not too hot, I like to garden. Of course I'm working on a family cookbook...you know, a collection of our favorites over the years. So what am I doing this cloudy morning? I'm writing this blog that nobody ever reads or yet comments on.

  • You sound like you know how to prioritize! Me? I'm sitting at the computer while the dishes call... from last night.

  • I think the things that have to get done, get done. The fun things get done, too. For me, I work more productively under a little time pressure. If I don't have a time constraint I often lose interest in the project and then it never gets done. Give me some soft deadlines and I will get the job done. Today I am quilting because I'm a little behind the class due to the size of my project.

  • Would you believe I forgot the important things like family history search and my memoir writing?

  • I usually put my lunch stuff away, check my blogs, cook dinner then play games or crochet. Other than that I don't have much time for stuff.

  • You shoul get Jailgy to help you set up a visitor counter. Then you would know that people read your blog. If I'm not mistaken, you've received comments on every single post that you've written too!

  • Please write those memoirs and family history! That's the sort of thing I love.

If you're not seeing your comments you can enable an option on blogger that will email you with each person's comment so you don't miss anything.
